Terms & Conditions Stylists

All rates can only be negotiated by RARE and At Trayler Ltd. All fees are based on the quoted daily rate and hours.

The days booking is for a 9 hour day including lunch break.

The days booking is for a 10+1hr day including lunch break.

VAT and agreed expenses are added where appropriate. Please note a surcharge will be incurred for any expenses paid by RARE for e.g. lights, hotel, and advances for artist’s props, products expenses that are required by the client to produce the job.

APA terms and conditions apply unless otherwise agreed.

Overtime rates @ 1.5x hourly rate. A special rate is negotiated for night work between midnight and 9 am, Saturday bookings, weekends, and bank holidays.

As per APA/AOP guidelines, if the artist is unable to fulfill their commissioned duties due to enforced COVID-19 isolation or positive test, the artist will receive 100% of fees for all days worked to that point.

Where possible the agent will supply a backup artist upon request who will receive a hold fee to keep the days available. If they are required to step in they will receive the 100% agreed fee.

Travel time will be charged at an agreed % of day rate for travel time, all to be negotiated when booking the artist. All car travel expenses charged at 0.50p per mile.

All fees including expenses and VAT, where applicable, are invoiced by the agency. Advance invoice for expenses will be required where applicable and payable in full prior to the shoot start.

For expenses can only be provided if requested in writing prior to shoot confirmation. Provision of receipts will incur an accountancy charge of 1.5% of total costs.

All final invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date or prior to commencement of use. Interest will be charged accordingly at the discretion of the agency.

The artist/stylist and their assistants will keep confidential and will not disclose to any third parties or make use of material or information communicated to him/her in confidence till the project goes live.

If an artist working on a location outside the M25 is prevented by the client/change of schedule from returning to London to work, half the daily fee is payable.

The client must provide accurate and detailed information about transport to and from the location. A call sheet must be provided at least 24 hours prior to work start.

Provisional bookings are automatically cancelled if they are not confirmed within 24 hours of the proposed booking or definitive/confirmed booking is offered and provisional cannot be confirmed. At the discretion of agency and artist.

If a confirmed booking is cancelled within two working days of the starting time, the full fee is chargeable, unless the same artist is re-booked within 24 hours in which case half fee will be charged. All cancellations fee and charges at the discretion of RARE and the artist. A Purchase Order is required upon confirmation of booking.

By confirming the stylists to work on your project, you agree to let them have the final hi-res file for their folio online and/or printed.

A photographer/video maker is not entitled to use test and experimental photographs/videos for commercial purposes unless specific arrangements have been made with the agency before the session takes place.

We reserve the right to negotiate within the structure of these terms and conditions.
