Dishpatch by Lizzie Mayson

Dishpatch, the company offering restaurant menus at home, commissioned Lizzie to shoot their chefs in their natural habitat. Lizzie’s challenge: to evoke the flavour of each chef in one kitchen. Luckily it wasn’t something that needed to be forced. As Lizzie does in her documentarian way, personalities and expressions opened naturally, as she tried to keep up with each chef as they cooked.

She opted for this fast-paced set up on purpose. We’re thrown into the thrill of service unable to look away. The result is food photography with a pulse.
