An avid pub goer, Ned's fascination with drinks started in our beloved public houses. With drinking habits changing and trips to his hometown haunts feeling increasingly quiet, the scale of closure of our pubs ignited Ned into action. Moving around Bristol with his camera, Ned tapped in to the stories and beauty these places hold.

Following instinct, there wasn't conscious unifying narrative, it's a story that arose through living in it. Finding an emptiness in pubs, his lens nurtures the stories that dwindle there. The body of work that arose has become more of a call to return. For Ned, it's a series that is never truly finished, instead it's an invitation that your pub is always open for a pint.
