Sam A HarrisAt Rare

Peaceful moments in a sea of colour.

Bathhouses have long been a place of community and healing, and Gellért Baths in Budapest is no different. From Roman foundations along the Danube to expansion under the Ottoman Empire, bathhouses became a focal point in Budapest. Not least for their ornate Turkish architecture and revered health effects, but also for the hub of enjoyment and togetherness they offer.

In his commission for Fare Magazine, Sam has married both elements. Turquoise tiles, soft ripples breaking the water and squelching flip flops, Sam's work is an invitation to unwind.
