Wein Goutte is the work of two former chefs, Christoph and Emily, who fell in love with the wine making process. At their small winery in Germany, a strict come as you are approach is enforced. The wine is natural and their relationship with the land and each other is equally relaxed. It was important for Sam to convey this generosity of spirit when they commissioned him for a visual refresh.

Luckily, Sam can take photographs as if there isn't a photographer there at all. Work schedules didn't stop, little intimacies carried on and laughs were genuine and full of belly. Look through the work, and you feel a real sense of being within the land, working with it, crafting it, celebrating it. Stay a little longer, and you feel the love emanate off the screen.
